Medan, May 28, 2025- Student Association of Law Study Program (HMPSH) Faculty of Law, Potential Potential University (UPU) successfully held legal counseling activities with the theme "Youth Awareness: Youth Delinquency and Three Sins of Higher Education" at Parulian 1 Medan Teladan High School. The event was attended by Parulian 1 High School students and filled with material exposure and interactive discussion by the resource person from FH Upu.

The activity which took place on May 28, 2025 at 11.00 WIB was opened with a warm welcome from the representative of the Parulian 1 Medan Teladan High School Foundation, followed by the presence of the Chairperson of the UPU Law Study Program, Mrs. Fitri Yani, S.H., M.H., and Mr. Muhammad Ihsan, S.H., M.H.I. as a supervisor. This legal counseling aims to increase the understanding of law among adolescents while building awareness of the importance of compliance with legal norms.

In his presentation, the resource person explained about the impact of juvenile delinquency and three sins of tertiary institutions (plagiarism, drugs, and sexual violence) which are often a challenge in the world of education. Through an interactive approach, students are invited to understand the rights and obligations as citizens and the legal consequences of violations committed.

The question and answer session took place dynamic, where participants actively raised questions about legal cases that were relevant to the life of teenagers. The resource person gave an in -depth response with a scientific approach, enriching students' legal insights.

This activity not only provides education, but is also expected to be able to change the legal culture among students, encourage the creation of quality and legal awareness of human resources (HR), and participants are able to adopt and adapt the best practice of legal knowledge. Fitri Yani, S.H., M.H., as the Chairperson of Upu Law Study Program, said,"Such legal counseling is important to form a generation of law and integrity. We hope that collaboration between academics and schools can continue to be established."
