Flood location conditions
The Sei Mati area, Medan Maimun District, is known to be one of the areas most severely affected by flooding due to high rainfall intensity in the last few days. Many houses are submerged in water, causing daily activities to stop and force some residents to evacuate to emergency posts.
At the Sasuda Flood Post, the assistance received was directly distributed to affected residents. One of the residents expressed his gratitude for the concern of students and partners involved. "Thank you to students and all those who have helped. This assistance is very meaningful for those of us who are facing difficult situations," he said.
Main Potential University Support
The Chancellor of the University of Potential Utama also gave appreciation for the initiatives carried out by HMPS RPL together with their partners. "We are proud to see our students play an active role in humanitarian activities. Hopefully this activity will be a motivation to continue to help the community and hone a sense of empathy as part of life learning," he said.
Hope in the future
Through this activity, HMPS RPL and partners involved hope to have a positive impact on the community, as well as inspire more parties to participate in humanitarian actions. They also opened the door for anyone who wanted to collaborate in helping flood victims and other social actions in the future.
With a spirit of togetherness, let's continue to care and help those in need. Hopefully the flood will recede soon and the community can return to life normally.
